Tonight’s insight about L O V E
When it comes to love/ choosing a lifetime partner, it is so important that you are either exactly on the same level/ the other one could support and grow with you.
For love means growing together.
Nobody goes ahead of the other without doing one’s best to push the partner forward with you and nobody gets left behind, being merely a spectator.
Love is an active reinforcement of growth and togetherness. Though not always geographically and physically speaking, and if in cases of these 2 elements being compromised, then work needs to be done. Effort. Action. A consistent manifestation of actions is required.
Communication has to be present at all times such that misunderstandings don’t go beyond 24 hours. There has to be a constant assurance that you are exactly on the same page…for you are partners, and you both work like a team, for a common goal…amidst any kind of setbacks that may come your way.
When you love, the other person’s happiness becomes as important as your own. His/her successes are yours to be happy about, his/her pains and miseries are also your own, his/her dreams are yours to keep too, for they are visions in the future and they’ll determine what you may need to live with as forthcoming.
Can you stomach it? What is your disposition towards his/her own goals? Does it make you want to do something positive on your own? Does he/she make you want to be a better person?
I could learn a thing or two about love from two people whom i thought could’ve never gotten this far into their relationship. But i was wrong. Each year, they just keep getting stronger and stronger. Its amazing to be surrounded by so much love. More importantly, thank you for helping me find that this thing is still available in this world.
